If it seems
your shoulder is the bed
on which the world’s difficulties lie,
Then you are alive.
If you are in need
of no frameless spectacles
to project the pains in your eyes,
Then you are alive.
If those drops of tears
are the only voice
of the burdens on your mind,
Then you are alive.
And, If your eyes eat my words,
but your mouth excretes them
when you yawn,
Then you are alive.
